At That Naija Market, customer satisfaction is our top priority. We understand that sometimes things don’t go as planned, and we are happy to assist you with returns or refunds where applicable. Please read our policy carefully.
Perishable Items (Food Items)
Due to the nature of our business, all perishable food items are final sale and cannot be returned or refunded once delivered, except in cases where the item arrives damaged, expired, or incorrect. If you receive a damaged or incorrect food item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at thatnaijamarket@gmail.com with your order number, a photo of the product, and a brief description of the issue.
We will review your claim and, if approved, we will issue a refund, store credit, or a replacement for the damaged or incorrect item.
Non-Perishable Items (Non-Food Items)
For non-perishable items such as kitchenware, fashion accessories, hair products, or other non-food items:
- You may return eligible items within 30 days of delivery for a refund or exchange.
- Items must be unused, in their original packaging, and in the same condition as received.
- To initiate a return, please contact us at thatnaijamarket@gmail.com with your order number and reason for the return.
Non-returnable items include:
- Perishable goods (food items).
- Health and personal care items.
- Gift cards.
- Downloadable products or software.
Refund Process
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you via email if your refund has been approved or denied.
- If approved, your refund will be processed and applied to your original payment method within 5-10 business days.
- Shipping costs are non-refundable, and if you received free shipping, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
- For items returned beyond the 30-day window or in a damaged condition (not due to our error), only partial refunds may be granted.
Late or Missing Refunds
If you haven't received your refund within the expected time:

Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged upon delivery. If you need to exchange an item for the same product, contact us at thatnaijamarket@gmail.com and ship the item to:

Gifts
If the item was purchased as a gift and shipped directly to you, you will receive store credit once the return is processed. If the item was not marked as a gift, the refund will be issued to the original purchaser.
Return Shipping
- Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping, except in cases where the item was damaged, defective, or incorrect.
- For items over $75, we recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We do not guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
